The Peabody School, a nonstock not-for-profit Virginia corporation (the “School”) has asked the Authority to issue tax-exempt educational facilities bonds in an amount not to exceed $3,500,000 on its behalf, to finance or refinance the acquisition, construction and equipping of various improvements to the School’s educational facilities, including an approximately 7,456 square foot new academic building, and the payment of costs of issuance (collectively, the “Project”). The Project is located in the County at 1232 Stoney Ridge Road, Charlottesville, Virginia 22902, on the School’s education campus. The educational facilities at this site are owned and operated by the School, whose principal place of business is at such location.
