BACKGROUND: Albemarle County maintains a Community Policy Management Team(CPMT) as required by Virginia Code to manage policy and expenses of the Children’s Services Act. Virginia Code established the composition of the CPMT, to include, in part, the local agency heads or their designees of certain community agencies, including the community services board, the juvenile court services unit, the department of health, the department of social services, and local school division. On January 14, 2026, the Board of Supervisors approved a resolution establishing the membership of the CPMT. Staff are seeking approval to add an additional named designee for the Virginia Department of Health’s Blue Ridge Health District.

DISCUSSION: Erin Callas has been identified by the Blue Ridge Health District as an additional CPMT designee.
BUDGET IMPACT: There is no budget impact associated with this request.

Staff recommend that the Board adopt the resolution (Attachment A) adding Erin Callas as a Virginia Department of Health CPMT designee.
