To measure progress toward the Board's goals, the Albemarle County's Climate Action Program conducts annual inventories of greenhouse gases emitted within the borders of the County as well as electricity used within the County. Based on the results of those inventories, the County is making substantial progress on its climate goals, consistent with other communities that are leaders in climate action, however there is still more to do.
