BACKGROUND: Our Lady of Peace (Applicant) is in the process of an expansion project and has submitted associated site plans (SDP202400072) and an easement plat (SUB-2026-00112) for County review. During the site plan review, the Applicant's legal team discovered a portion of an existing platted private access easement that serves Parcels 61Z-03-8 and 61Z-03-1A inadvertently falls across County-owned Parcel 61Z-03-9. The private access easement was drawn on a plat by Kurt M. Gloeckner dated January 6, 1998. The 1998 plat does not accurately illustrate the boundary line between Parcel 61Z-03-1A and County-owned Parcel 61Z-03-9. Since the plat only showed a private access easement, no County review was required prior to plat recordation, and no County authorization to convey the easement was sought at that time.

DISCUSSION: The Applicant requests the Board of Supervisors schedule a public hearing to consider the conveyance of a 512 square-foot access easement on County-owned Parcel 61Z-03-9. No adjustments to the easement are proposed. (Attachments A and B). County staff have reviewed the easement location and have no objections to the proposal.
