BACKGROUND: Each year, the Board of Supervisors is presented an audited Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the Board’s review and acceptance, in accordance with Virginia Code §15.2-2511.
STRATEGIC PLAN: Mission - To enhance the well-being and quality of life for all community members through the provision of the highest level of public service consistent with the prudent use of public funds.
DISCUSSION: The Board will receive the Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for acceptance (Attachment A). A draft of the FY 23 ACFR and results of the annual audit was presented to the Board on December 13, 2023.
BUDGET IMPACT: There is no budget impact related to the presentation and acceptance of the FY 23 ACFR.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Board accept the FY 23 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
